Describe a business idea that solves a major world problem at scale

According to the International Diabetes Federation, approximately 463 million adults (age 20-79 years) were living with diabetes worldwide in 2019. This number is expected to increase to 700 million by 2045 if current trends continue.

According to the World Health Organization, diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death globally in 2019.

My idea is to manage diabetes worldwide via a digital platform that educates people on diabetes prevention and management through alternate and traditional medications.

The platform would include information and coaching about healthy lifestyle choices, such as diet and exercise, and provide access to remote consultations with healthcare professionals. One of the biggest problems diabetes patients faces is compliance with medication and wellness regime and habit formation which this digital platform will tackle.

Additionally, we will partner with companies to produce and distribute affordable diabetes medication. Revenue will be generated through subscriptions to the digital platform, partnerships with healthcare providers, and sales of medication.

To implement this model worldwide, the enterprise would need to establish partnerships with local organizations and governments, navigate regulatory requirements, and adapt to cultural needs.
